Abstract: #The thesis analyses representations of men and masculine identities in development interventions targeting men. The United Nations agency for Population and Development, UNFPA, and it’s activities in Uganda, forms a context for this analysis. The activities focused upon are a behaviour change campaign for men’s participation in family planning/ maternal health as well as a media-advocacy campaign for ‘male friendly’ reproductive health services.
