| Abstract: | The focus of this report is Participatory IT Design - from initial analysis to a recommendation of a suitable IT-solution. The case study in this report concerns the IT-department in Roskilde Municipality. The IT-department’s needs and demands for a Knowledge Management System is uncovered through interviews as proposed by the MUST-method. This method is combined with an iterative design process in order to progress from the initial analysis of the department to design-activities that lead to a recommendation of an appropriate system; Service Desk Plus. This recommendation is based on the preceding preparation of a horizontal prototype and an evaluation of through usability tests. The main subjects in the report are; Iterative design process, user interface, usability, Knowledge Management and Implementation. |
