| Abstract: | Netværk – bro eller barriere?
Network – bridge or barrier?
- The consequence of network on the labour market
In this project we study the importance of social networks in connection to getting immigrants into the labour markets and thereby further integration. The network of immigrants are often an easy way to employment, but will often channel the immigrants into low paid and uncertain jobs. Through the project we will describe the network of the immigrants from a sociological point of view and analyze their network and position on the labour markets and the effects this have on the integration process. In the project we involve terms like social capital, network theory and integration theory. |
