| Abstract: | A new form of psychology has evolved over time where one can use the psychology alone to improve mentally well-functioning people. This is called Positive psychology.
In our project, we focus on the primary theories behind this type of psychology. We do this by especially utilizing the books written by some of the front-figures of Positive psychology; Martin Seligman and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyis.
In addition to this, we employ the self help book by Sara Zobal called “Lev dig lykkelig” to investigate the applicability of the exercise the books refer to. We do this by testing the exercises on our selves during one month, and then afterwards evaluate whether we believe they have had the intended effect, and especially whether it is possible to apply the exercises to people with an every day life like ours. |
