| Abstract: | This study examines the possibility of developing an online community around the students at the Danish School of Design (DKDS). The main methodology is based on ‘Design Thinking’. To clarify the students’ design process and collaboration, an interview with school management is carried out. Furthermore a study of student design processes is performed through a combination of interviews and workshops. Subsequently, a survey of the schools internal network is performed to clarify how the existing system is in line with the students’ needs for collaboration in their design process. On the basis of this empirical research and relevant theory a concept is developed which supports the students design process to better the opportunity for collaboration for the users. |
