Abstract: Teaching Innovation in High School Based on the premise that innovation is able to improve the Danish competitive capacity, the Ministry of Education has presented a legislation to implement innovation to the curriculum in the high school educational system. The project seeks, with base in critical realism, to explain the structural challenges, which lies in the implementation of teaching innovation. This project makes a problem of the implementation of teaching innovation, based on the differences between the structural form and the entrant’s demands. Critical realism makes it possible to approach a list of causal explanations, to elucidate the dispute between the structure and entrants of teaching innovation.
